What is ConSiteLog?
ConSiteLog is time-tracking and construction-diary software for construction companies. Who is ConSiteLog for?
If your workers are on different sites every day and the manager needs an overview of where, how much and with what work was done, ConSiteLog is built for that. It helps most:
- Construction and installation companies with crews on several sites
- Site managers who keep a construction diary and document subcontracted work
- Payroll teams that need hourly and piecework summaries for many workers
- Construction companies with Russian- or English-speaking workers
What does ConSiteLog do?
- Daily timesheets: start, end and breaks, description of work, materials, equipment, obstacles and photos
- Site diary compiled from timesheets, manager approval and DOCX/PDF export
- Time tracking with payroll; piecework on tasks with manager approval and quantity limits
- Sites, workers and screens in four languages (Estonian, English, Russian, German)
- Quotes with automatic numbering, sent date and PDF files
- Sharing company rules and manuals, with dated worker signatures
- Schedule change notifications and announcements in the app and by email
- Integration with Merit Aktiva for payroll and accounting data
What does it cost?
€7.99 per user per month + VAT
The first 60 days are free and no payment card is needed to start. Every worker and manager added to the company counts as a user. EU companies with a valid VAT number are billed with reverse charge, meaning 0% VAT.
In short
- 60 days free, no payment card
- €7.99 per user per month + VAT
- Unlimited workers and managers — you pay per user
- Card payment inside the app
How does ConSiteLog differ from Excel?
Many construction companies still keep working hours and diaries in spreadsheets. Below are the differences you notice within the first week.
| Topic | With an Excel sheet | With ConSiteLog |
|---|---|---|
| Data entry | Managers fill in every sheet themselves; workers send information on paper, by SMS or in chats. | Workers enter their own timesheet on the phone — time, work description and materials right on site. |
| Compiling the site diary | Copy-pasting into sheets day by day, with the risk of introducing wrong data. | The manager picks the day and workers; ConSiteLog gathers the timesheet data into the diary, which the manager completes and approves. |
| Payroll | Separate sheets for hourly and piecework quantities, calculated by hand. | Rates stay saved; payroll calculates hourly and piecework totals automatically. |
| History and versions | File copies (“old”, “updated”) — unclear which version is valid. | Every diary is kept by date; approved diaries are archived and easy to find. |
| Photos and location | Photos and GPS cannot be tied to a day in a spreadsheet. | Photos can be added to the timesheet; start and end of the workday save the location if the worker allows it. |
| Several users at once | Only one person can edit the file; emailing it around causes conflicting versions. | All users work on the same data at the same time; permissions depend on role. |
Installing the app on a phone
ConSiteLog is a web app: filling in the daily timesheet works in the browser without installing anything. If you want an icon on your home screen, install it with Safari on iPhone or Chrome on Android. The steps are also in the user guide under “Installing the app on your phone”.
Frequently asked questions
What is ConSiteLog?
ConSiteLog is a web app for construction companies where workers fill in daily timesheets in the phone browser, managers compile site diaries from them, and the company keeps working time, piecework and payroll in one place.
Who is ConSiteLog for?
It suits construction and installation companies whose crews work on sites and whose managers need a daily overview of work done, hours and materials. It works for small teams and larger companies alike; workers can use it in Estonian, English, Russian or German.
What does it cost and how can I try it?
The trial lasts 60 days and no payment card is needed. After that the price is €7.99 per user per month + VAT. EU companies with a valid VAT number pay no VAT (reverse charge).
Do workers have to install an app?
Nothing has to be installed from an app store: the timesheet works in the phone browser. If you like, ConSiteLog can be added to an iPhone or Android home screen — the steps are in the user guide under “Installing the app on your phone” and as downloadable PDFs.
How does ConSiteLog differ from Excel?
In Excel the manager fills in everything and payroll is calculated by hand; in ConSiteLog workers enter their own data and the manager approves it. Data stays in one place, payroll calculates hourly and piecework totals, photos and locations are tied to the day, and diaries can always be found by date.
Does ConSiteLog have a construction diary?
Yes. The manager compiles the site diary from workers' daily timesheets, adds weather, materials and supervision fields and approves it. An approved diary can be downloaded as DOCX or PDF. Approving a diary in the app is not a digital signature.
Does ConSiteLog handle piecework?
Yes. A task can have an hourly rate, a piecework rate or both. Workers enter quantities done, the manager approves them and payroll shows both together.
Is the data secure?
Data is stored in a Western European data centre, access requires login and managers can also use multi-factor authentication (MFA). Roles decide who sees what: workers see their own data, managers and administrators see the company's.
Try it on your own sites with your team
Create a company account, confirm your email, add a site and invite workers. Everything works for 60 days without payment; after that €7.99 per user per month + VAT.
